UAPB's Sharpshooting Freshman Guard with Untapped High School Pedigree
Chetavia Rutherford, a freshman guard for the UAPB Golden Lionettes, brings proven 3-point shooting prowess—flashing two early threes in a dominant 2008 high school win—and college-ready intensity, as noted in recruiting buzz for her no-nonsense attitude. Her differentiator is clutch perimeter threat paired with freshman hunger, making her a low-risk, high-reward fit for teams needing spacing and grit; watch for breakout potential in SWAC play despite limited recent stats.
