reliable Gardner-Webb linebacker with tackling upside
Bennett profiles as a steady, physical linebacker whose appeal is built on consistency rather than flash: Gardner-Webb lists him at linebacker, and his season notes show seven total tackles plus a quarterback pressure in one campaign, with a career-best four stops against Kennesaw.[2][3] His prep résumé also points to a strong tackling baseline, as he posted 80 tackles as a senior.[2] For a team looking for a disciplined, depth-friendly defender who can stack plays and compete with effort, Bennett is the kind of fit that usually raises a defense’s floor.[2]
