Cal Poly’s Kavika Fitisemanu brings sturdy tackle size and real starting experience
In the 2022 season, Kavika Fitisemanu started three games at left tackle as a true freshman, helping Cal Poly finish No. 5 nationally in passing offense and No. 37 in total offense. He’s a 6-3, 285-pound redshirt sophomore from Torrance who profiles as a physical, reliable interior/edge line piece with versatility and early-game experience. Cal Poly’s roster notes also say he missed 2023 after getting injured before the season, so durability will matter. The big appeal: he already has live snaps, a family-first recruitment story, and enough pedigree to fit a team needing a tough, team-oriented OL.
