Colton Foster brings size and interior depth to Colorado State’s defensive line
Foster profiles as a big-bodied **run-stopping defensive tackle** with legitimate length at 6-4 and roughly 280 pounds, and Colorado State’s roster history shows he has been a multi-year contributor for the Rams. His main differentiator is his combination of frame and motor rather than eye-popping splash stats, which suggests value as a dependable interior presence who can eat blocks, hold gaps, and keep the front physically steady. Based on available recruiting grades, he was viewed as a solid, not flashy, prospect — a fit for a team looking for toughness, leverage, and rotational depth rather than a pure pass-rush specialist.
