Kyle Williams brings compact, veteran DB toughness to UConn
A 5-foot-7 graduate student from New Haven, Kyle Williams gives UConn a local, experienced defensive back with grit, familiarity, and a hard-nosed profile that coaches love for depth and special teams value. He’s not the flashy size/speed prototype, but his differentiator is steady, “coach’s son” reliability: battling through the grind, embracing the dirty work, and fitting a secondary that needs savvy more than sizzle. For a team that wants toughness, maturity, and a hometown connector, he’s an easy yes.
