Shelton Walker brings speed and versatility to Austin Peay’s secondary
Shelton Walker is a safety for Austin Peay who fits the modern “do a little bit of everything” profile: a back-end defender who has to be comfortable triggering downhill, covering space, and cleaning up mistakes. Publicly available current stat detail on his 2026 individual production is limited, but his value is the kind coaches love in a rotational defensive back—flexible, assignment-sound, and useful against both the run and pass. If a team wants a dependable safety with room to grow, Walker looks like a practical, no-drama fit.
