UC Davis CB Alex Hines: Speedy Return Specialist with Untapped Pro Potential
Alex Hines shone as UC Davis' primary kick returner in the 2012 season, ranking second on the team with 20 returns for 418 yards—including a standout 100+ yard performance—showcasing elite speed, vision, and ball security that set him apart as a dynamic playmaker from the secondary. As a cornerback, his high school pedigree (146 rushing yards, top-72 in VA Division 5A) hints at versatile athleticism, while recent HBCU all-star buzz and content creation signal relentless work ethic and football IQ. Injury-free history and explosive traits make him a prime undrafted free agent fit for teams needing special teams spark and developmental DB depth.
