Will Dawkins brings veteran ball skills and steady production to UAB’s secondary
Will Dawkins is a seasoned safety for UAB who has shown a knack for making timely plays, including multiple interceptions and pass breakups across his college career, with a strong tackle floor that suggests reliable run support. In the 2019 season, he finished with 28 tackles and an interception, and earlier seasons showed similar versatility and production, including 35 tackles in one campaign and a forced fumble in another. The appeal here is simple: he looks like a dependable, experienced defensive back who can help stabilize coverage and bring a veteran edge to the back end.
