Versatile WR Flashes Potential in Limited Houston Role
Joshua Cobbs, a speedy slot/wide receiver from San Antonio, appeared in 11 games for the Houston Cougars in 2024, logging 176 snaps (130 offensive) with one start at UCF, showcasing his high school pedigree of 62 catches for 1,253 yards and 25 TDs at Wagner HS. After a solid 2021 at Wyoming (25 rec, 245 yds, 9.8 YPC), his journeyman path highlights resilience and special teams grit—now a senior DB/WR hybrid at LA Tech in 2025 with 6 solo tackles and 2 PDs. Care about him for his big-play athleticism (20.2 HS YPR) and multi-phase intensity; ideal depth fit for teams needing versatile speed.
