Kasey Kane is an emerging middle-of-the-order bat for Iowa State
In the 2026 season, freshman catcher Kasey Kane has quickly looked like a run-producing piece for Iowa State, hitting .279 with a .866 OPS, 3 home runs, 13 RBI and a .471 slugging percentage while showing she can drive the ball in pressure spots.[1][2] Iowa State’s staff also describes her as a middle-of-the-lineup hitter who can create runs with both average and power, and her high school résumé adds polish: a four-year .400-plus hitter, all-state recognition, and a state-title pedigree at Pleasant Valley.[3][9]
