Local guard with proven playmaking instincts and a high-intensity background
Tapley is a Maine guard whose best selling point is her feel for the game: in high school, she averaged 16.3 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.5 steals per game while helping Mount Desert Island go undefeated in the regular season, which points to two-way impact and competitive edge[3]. Maine’s roster listing and ESPN profile identify her as a guard from Bar Harbor, and ESPN’s player page shows her as a rotational piece at the college level, with modest current scoring numbers but experience in the program[2][3]. She looks like a fit for teams that value local toughness, ball pressure, and steady backcourt decision-making over pure volume scoring[3].
