Nealy Lamb brings proven ace-level stuff and elite strikeout upside to South Carolina
Lamb is a right-handed pitcher with a track record of overpowering hitters and handling big workloads: in 2024 at Charleston Southern, she went 12-8 with a 1.58 ERA, 124 strikeouts in 133.0 innings, and a league-best 0.87 ERA in conference play, then followed with a 2025 season for South Carolina that showed she can still miss bats and eat innings in a tougher SEC environment.[5][10][14] Her differentiators are command, competitiveness, and experience as both a starter and high-leverage arm, plus the kind of award-winning résumé that suggests she can anchor a staff rather than just fill innings.[10][17]
