Ali Shockley brings veteran ball-hawking toughness to Hampton’s secondary
In the 2022 season, Ali Shockley was a senior defensive back who showed up as a reliable tackler, including 10 tackles against William & Mary and 8 tackles with 5 solo stops against Howard; Hampton also listed him as a redshirt senior at 5'11", 185 pounds, and described him as a former first-team junior college All-American with special play-making ability. He profiles as an experienced, physical DB with proven production, a résumé built on playmaking, and the kind of edge coaches love when they want consistency, leadership, and a defense that hits with intent.
