Caleb Cucancic brings playmaking versatility and tackling pop to SFA's secondary
Caleb Cucancic profiles as a two-way difference-maker with defensive value: in 2024 flag-football action he posted 18 tackles, 1 sack and 4 passes defended while also adding a rushing touchdown, and his high school résumé shows big-play juice as a receiver with 789 career receiving yards and 8 TDs at an eye-catching 26.3 yards per catch. That combination of ball skills, physicality and production suggests an athletic, disruptive safety who can fit in aggressive schemes and help on special teams, with the added bonus of proven competitiveness in multiple roles.
