Lana Skripkina brings size, rebounding, and stretch-forward upside to McNeese State
Skripkina profiles as a versatile frontcourt fit because she already showed she can rebound, stretch the floor, and score in volume at the junior-college level, averaging 10.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game at Lamar Community College while hitting 56 threes and starting all 30 games in 2018-19, then provided veteran depth at Morgan State with a 15-point outburst on efficient 3-of-5 shooting from deep in 2019-20. Her value is the combination of size, outside shooting, and experience; if McNeese needs a forward who can space the floor and battle inside without needing the offense built around her, she’s a sensible fit.[1]
