steady Samford long snapper with a comeback story
Perry Beasley is a redshirt junior long snapper for Samford in the 2026 season, listed at 6-3, 252 pounds, and notable for surviving Hodgkin’s lymphoma treatments early in his career before returning to football. He doesn’t have public stat lines — that’s normal for a specialist — but his value is in snap consistency, durability, and special-teams reliability, plus the kind of toughness that coaches love and teammates trust. If you need a low-drama, high-trust specialist, he fits the profile.
