Bethune-Cookman’s veteran center with All-MEAC pedigree
Vernon Edwards is a former Bethune-Cookman center who earned two-year starter status, captained the 2005 team, and finished that season as a First Team All-MEAC selection and Third Team All-American. His calling card is steady interior-line play: experience, leadership, and the kind of physical edge that usually shows up on film before it shows up in box scores. He looks like the dependable, tone-setting center you want anchoring a front, especially if your team values toughness, consistency, and accountability over flash.
