Riley Golden brings lefty upside and a proven strikeout résumé to Milwaukee
Riley Golden enters Milwaukee as a freshman left-handed pitcher with real swing-and-miss credentials: in his 2025 high-school season at Prairie Ridge, he posted a 1.07 ERA with 88 strikeouts in 58 2/3 innings, and Milwaukee’s roster notes say he threw 60 strikeouts over 37 2/3 innings with a 2.70 ERA the next season on the prep circuit. His calling card is poise and pitchability from the left side, plus the kind of competitiveness that showed up in big games late in the year. If your team wants a developing arm with polish, innings-eating upside, and room to grow, he’s worth a close look.
