veteran Mountaineer back with special-teams grit
Eric Davidson is best remembered as a tough, multi-use depth piece for Appalachian State, not a volume-stat star: in the 2014 season, he logged 20 carries for 78 yards and also contributed on kick coverage, while the program’s roster history describes him as a veteran who added depth, experience, and special-teams value. His edge is versatility and reliability rather than flash, with a background as a sprinter hinting at straight-line burst. He fits best for a team that values physicality, special teams, and dependable role players over headline numbers.
