Kholbe Coleman brings proven linebacker production and a veteran edge to SIU
In the 2026 season, Kholbe Coleman profiles as a sturdy, experienced Southern Illinois linebacker who has already shown playmaking ability, including 44 tackles and 2 forced fumbles in his current stat line, while ESPN also lists 5 forced fumbles and 0 interceptions in his career profile[1][8][12]. At 6-foot-0 and 233 pounds, the senior from Hoover, Alabama adds compact power, downhill tackling, and a résumé that includes major production at Bowling Green before transferring to SIU[4][13]. The fit? A tough, ready-made defensive tone-setter who looks like a reliable plug-and-play fit for a physical scheme[4][13].
