SIUE guard Akintoye Okunrinboye brings veteran backcourt grit, but his college impact is historical, not current
Akintoye Okunrinboye is a former SIUE guard who joined the Cougars as a walk-on and appeared in only one game in the 2013-14 season, so there is no current college-performance track record to evaluate from the available sources[1][2]. What stands out is his backcourt profile — a 5-foot-11 guard from McCluer North with documented college-roster experience — but there is not enough recent production, rankings, or stat-leader evidence to credibly project him as a current rotation fit based on the available information[1][2][5].
