Earnest Patterson brings proven production and versatility to Louisiana’s receiver room
Earnest Patterson has a solid track record as a productive pass-catcher, including 68 receptions for 906 yards and 6 touchdowns at Blinn College, and ESPN lists him with 22 career catches for 308 yards and 1 TD at Louisiana[3][4]. His background also suggests playmaking versatility, since he starred as a high-school runner before transitioning fully to receiver, which can translate into toughness, open-field balance, and ball skills[2][6]. The main question is role fit: he looks like a dependable depth or situational weapon rather than a headline-grabbing national star, but the production profile and experience make him worth watching for teams that value reliability and multi-use skill[3][4].
