Portland State DE Josh Ratliff: an upside edge rusher with fit questions still to answer
Josh Ratliff’s value is less about flash and more about traits: as a defensive end for Portland State, he profiles as a size-and-effort edge player who can help a defense with length, motor, and physicality, but the current public results available here do not provide enough season-by-season production detail to project him as a proven impact starter.[2] What makes him interesting is the developmental bet—if your team wants a hard-nosed front-seven piece with room to grow, he’s the kind of player worth a closer look rather than a headline grab.[2]
