Macy Hamby is App State’s clutch-bat, power-hitting infield spark
In the 2026 season, Macy Hamby has been one of App State’s most dangerous bats, hitting .323 with 7 home runs, 35 RBIs, 40 hits, and a .924 OPS while starting 37 games. She’s the kind of middle-order threat who can flip a game fast—she delivered a go-ahead grand slam against James Madison and reached her 100th career hit on a game-tying homer versus Georgia Southern. Her value goes beyond numbers: App State notes she made a smooth defensive transition and has been a steady, high-impact presence in big moments.
