Purdue's Steady Senior Point Guard with Untapped Potential
Korey Spates, a 6-0 senior point guard from Cleveland, OH, committed to Purdue in 2004 and brings battle-tested leadership to the Boilermakers' backcourt, excelling in high-pressure decision-making and court vision. Free from prior D1 demands, he's primed for a breakout with core-enhanced athleticism—studies show such training boosts sprinting, agility, and skills like dribbling for guards like him. His gritty intensity and Ohio hoops pedigree make him a reliable floor general; ideal for teams needing a smart, durable PG who elevates playmakers around him.
