Alaric Wooten brings veteran DB instincts and tackling reliability
A seasoned defensive back with Western Illinois experience, Alaric Wooten is the kind of depth piece coaches like because he’s proven he can get on the field and make stops. In the 2022 season at Western Illinois, he played in three games and finished with five tackles, including four solo stops, after appearing in eight games in the 2021 season with nine tackles total. His profile suggests a steady, physical defender with special-teams value and veteran maturity, though the publicly available stat line is more about dependability than splashy ball production.
