TCU’s Louis Rodriguez: Dependable senior arm, but 2026 is lost to injury
Louis Rodriguez is a right-handed pitcher for TCU who, in the 2025 season, posted a 3.19 ERA with a 5-1 record, 47 strikeouts, 14 walks, and a .224 opponent average across 48 innings, showing the kind of strike-throwing reliability coaches love[13]. He also earned some late-game trust, including a 3.2-inning scoreless outing at Utah in the 2025 season[15]. The big catch: he was reported to have suffered a torn UCL and will miss the entire 2026 season after Tommy John surgery, so his value now is more about future upside than immediate help[1][8][13].
