veteran Samford left tackle with a nasty prep pedigree
Guyse entered Samford as a decorated Alabama lineman, and his background still pops: in the 2017 season at West Morgan, he logged 108 pancake blocks, allowed no sacks, and earned 3A Offensive Lineman of the Year honors. At Samford, he’s been viewed as a steady, experienced OL presence with the size and temperament coaches love—6-foot-4, 283 pounds, former team captain traits, and the kind of blue-collar edge that helps an offense stay on schedule. If your team wants a battle-tested, physical lineman who brings leadership and consistency more than flash, he fits the bill.
