High-Intensity Guard with Steady Scoring and Defensive Hustle for Rutgers
Karlita Washington, a Rutgers Scarlet Knights guard, averages 7.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.1 steals per game across her career, with 20 double-digit scoring games[4]. Her differentiator is relentless intensity and defensive pressure—she recorded 1.1 steals per game and thrives in high-stakes runs, like her 10-point burst during a 20-0 Rutgers surge[2]. While she faced a tough 76-48 loss to Washington in 2026 where Rutgers shot just 32.2%[1], her consistency and personality make her a reliable fit for teams needing a gritty, versatile guard who elevates in critical moments. No major injury history is noted, and her career trajectory shows steady growth as a stat leader in steals and scoring bursts[4].
