Houston Markham is Troy’s steady, high-contact OF with clutch pop and real postseason juice
In the 2026 season, Houston Markham emerged as a key Troy bat, hitting .325 with 40 hits, 26 runs, 13 RBIs and 3 home runs while also going 7-for-8 on stolen bases; he added a .472 on-base rate and delivered big in the NCAA Tournament, including a .444 clip across seven tournament games. He’s a left-handed hitter with right-handed throw, projects as a dependable corner outfielder, and stands out for his contact skills, base-running efficiency, and calm, “show up when it matters” vibe—exactly the kind of all-around contributor a winning lineup loves.
