Left-hander with upside, feel, and a polished academic edge
Barry is a left-handed pitcher who brings a blend of mound competitiveness and strike-throwing experience, with a history of working in meaningful innings and producing strikeouts in high school and college settings.[1] His differentiators are not just arm-side looks and lefty value, but also a reputation for being coachable, academically driven, and development-minded — he has said he chose Pepperdine for the baseball staff and well-rounded education, and he’s pursuing biology with a goal of medical school.[1] For a staff, that suggests a disciplined, high-character arm who could fit a program that values consistency and growth.
