Jake Watson brings classic North Dakota toughness and multi-sport production to the linebacker room
Jake Watson entered North Dakota as a hometown linebacker recruit from Mandan, where he earned all-region and all-state honors, posted 90 tackles, two sacks and an interception, and even added 12 catches for 277 yards and four scores on offense in his senior year. His edge is straightforward: physicality, versatility, and a reputation as a team captain and defensive MVP who plays with a high motor. He looks like a fit for a program that values grit, local roots, and do-everything defenders who can hit, lead, and wear people down.
