a depth forward with size and defensive flashes for Stephen F. Austin
Kaylah Starling is a 6-foot-1 forward from Tatum, Texas who gives Stephen F. Austin size and a low-usage, defense-first option in the frontcourt; in the 2014-15 season, she appeared in 10 games and logged six points, six rebounds, two blocks and one assist, which points to a role player who can protect the rim and battle inside rather than carry scoring load.[1][4] Her value is in fit and toughness more than volume production, so she makes sense for a team needing energy, length and situational interior minutes.[1][4]
