Austin Parker brings veteran linebacker savvy to NCCU’s defense
Austin Parker is a redshirt junior linebacker at North Carolina Central at 6-foot-0, 240 pounds, and he’s the kind of steady, physical defender coaches like to lean on when they want reliability in the middle of the field. NCCU listed him as having played in 4 games, and a 2019 game note showed him chipping in 10 tackles in one outing, which hints at his ability to be active around the ball. The big appeal: compact size, experience, and a punchy, downhill style that fits a defense looking for toughness and consistency.
