DePaul center Steven Hunter brings NBA size, shot-blocking presence, and interior upside
Steven Hunter is a 7-foot DePaul big man whose appeal starts with rim protection, length, and the kind of interior profile that can change game plans even when the box score is quiet. His DePaul background and NBA draft pedigree add credibility, but the main fit factor is that he projects as a defensive anchor and paint finisher rather than a high-usage scorer. The key question for any team is whether they want a true center who can protect the rim and occupy space, because that is where his value is clearest.
