Dominic Smaldino is a thunder-bat breakout for Arizona State
In the 2026 season, Smaldino has been one of Arizona State’s biggest offensive difference-makers: he was named All-Big 12 Second Team, hit .533 with 13 RBIs in one series against Oklahoma State, and tied the ASU single-game home run record with three blasts. At 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, he brings rare raw power, loud exit velocities, and elite hard-hit contact; the kind of profile that can change a game in one swing. If your team needs middle-of-the-order thump and a player who plays with real force, he absolutely deserves a look.
