Devonte' Neal

Devonte’ Neal brings veteran size, rim protection, and quiet reliability to Alabama State

Devonte’ Neal is a 6-foot-10 center whose value has long been built on rebounding, shot-blocking, and steady effort rather than flashy scoring. In his Alabama State stint, his role has been limited, but the profile still screams “low-maintenance big” — the kind of post player coaches trust to defend the paint, clean the glass, and stay within the system. He’s a fit if a team wants size, discipline, and interior toughness over high-usage production; less so if it needs a go-to scorer or perimeter-oriented modern big.
