Smart, steady Hokies guard with old-school grit
A.J. Lemaitre is best known as a high-IQ, team-first guard whose value goes beyond box scores: Virginia Tech has described her as an upbeat locker-room presence with a strong basketball IQ, and historical notes from her Hokies career highlight efficient shooting, solid assist production, and defensive activity in the 2008 season. She looks like the kind of player coaches trust for composure, communication, and effort; the only caution is that her earlier career also included knee trouble, so durability matters. Good fit? If a team wants toughness, chemistry, and a reliable cerebral guard, absolutely.
