Proven, Physical Gopher Line Protector with Big-Game Experience
Calhoun is a veteran interior offensive lineman whose value comes from dependability, power, and experience: at Minnesota, he started 13 of 21 games across the 2016 and 2017 seasons and helped the Gophers produce 2,189 rushing yards and allow just 22 sacks in 2017, while also coming off an earlier injury-affected stretch in 2016. His best trait is that he helps an offense stay on schedule in the run game and keep the pocket clean, making him a strong fit for teams that want a tough, technically sound blocker rather than a flashy stat-sheet player.
