Villanova LB Jamison Young brings proven playmaking and downhill edge
Jamison Young is a disruptive, high-motor linebacker who has already shown impact production for Villanova, including a team-high 5.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and a reputation for leading the defense with speed and intensity. He was also recognized as a third-team All-Atlantic 10 selection and as the team’s defensive player of the week, which supports the view that he’s more than a stat compiler—he’s a tone-setter who can change games. He looks like a strong fit for teams valuing aggressive, assignment-sound linebacker play and visible edge.
