veteran North Florida big man with efficient touch and steady post presence
In the 2005-06 season, David Ashwell was a 6-foot-8 senior center expected to anchor North Florida’s post, bringing a strong body, good quickness, and soft hands to the Ospreys’ frontcourt[1]. He had a productive second half the prior season and owned efficient touch around the rim, shooting 57% from the field and 79% at the line, which is a strong combo for a center who can finish and stay playable late in games[1]. For a team needing a reliable, physical interior veteran, he looks like a dependable fit with low-drama, high-rep value[1].
