veteran UH LB with roots, grit, and special-teams value
Ikaika Blackburn is a familiar, steady presence for Hawaii, with program history and a profile that screams reliability more than flash. The available data show limited recent stat output, so the real appeal is his lineage, local ties, and the kind of linebacker who can bring toughness, instincts, and locker-room credibility to a roster. If you want an under-the-radar fit who likely earns trust through effort, special teams, and knowing the system, Blackburn is the kind of player coaches usually love.
