Shannon Murphy Brings Two-Way Backcourt Production and Real Hustle to FGCU
Murphy projects as a dependable, low-drama guard who contributes across the board: in 2024-25, she averaged 6.8 points, 2.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 0.7 blocks in 23 games, with 31 made threes showing perimeter value and activity on both ends. Her profile suggests a high-effort, versatile player who can help with ball movement, defensive disruption, and secondary scoring rather than needing the offense run through her. That makes her appealing for a team that values toughness, consistency, and multipositional guard play.
