2013 Breakout Center with 61.5% FG and Career-High 23 Points
Devon Long, a 6'7", 260lb Center from Cleveland State, is a **high-efficiency interior scorer** who shot **.615 from the field** in the 2012-13 season (6.7 PPG, 3.5 RPG) and exploded for a **career-high 23 points** against Youngstown State in 2013 [1][2]. His differentiator is **dominating presence inside** and **patient development**, having waited three years for his breakout opportunity before delivering a game-winning performance with five rebounds [2][9]. While he is no longer an active collegiate player (roster data shows 2026-27 team without him), his profile indicates a **physical, low-maintenance player** with strong basketball IQ who transitioned to a professional marketing career after four years of varsity play [6]. For a team seeking a **reliable, high-percentage finisher** who can absorb contact and score in the paint without needing high volume, Long's 2013 peak demonstrates the fit, though his current status is post-collegiate.
