Filip Nowicki

Filip Nowicki brings size, rim presence, and a low-usage interior game for Sacred Heart

At Sacred Heart, Filip Nowicki has been a classic paint-center: in the 2014-15 season he appeared in 29 games with 11 starts, averaging 2.8 points and 3.0 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game, and his size (6'10", 260) gives the Pioneers a legit interior body. He’s the kind of big who can finish efficiently and protect the lane, but his value is mostly in the physicality, rebounding, and matchup control he can provide rather than high-volume scoring. If a roster needs a true anchor in the middle, he’s a sensible fit.
