Experienced New Mexico corner with an SEC-to-Mountain West journey
Hunter Sellers brings legitimate experience to the New Mexico secondary, with a college career that includes time at Pittsburgh before joining the Lobos and 9 solo tackles listed on his ESPN player page. In the 2023 season, New Mexico’s roster bio listed him at 5'11" and 180 pounds, and his high school résumé included First Team All-Region 4A and All-State honors, plus 38 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 2 fumble recoveries as a defensive back. The appeal here is versatility, toughness, and a veteran transfer profile—useful for a team that wants a steady, physical CB who already knows how to compete.
