Joe Tafoya was a relentless edge rusher, but the Arizona Wildcats have no current player by that name
Joe Tafoya’s Arizona profile is as a late-1990s Wildcats edge standout, not a current 2026 roster player, so he’s not an active fit for today’s team. In his Arizona career, he was a disruptive, high-motor defender who finished with 24.5 sacks and earned two All-Pac-10 selections, with reports also naming him a team MVP and one of the program’s all-time top edge rushers. If you’re evaluating him as a prototype, think toughness, production, and pass-rush juice over raw flash.
