Guard Elijah Pughsley Transfers to Western Carolina After Brescia Stint

Elijah Pughsley, a guard from Lima, Ohio, has joined Western Carolina's program. During his time at Brescia, the 2022-23 season showed Pughsley averaging 7.6 points per game with a 29.1% field goal percentage—metrics suggesting he's still developing his offensive consistency. However, his highlight-reel performances (including a 45-point outburst in showcase competition) indicate significant upside and competitive fire. Best suited for programs seeking a high-energy, developmental guard with scoring potential who can contribute on the perimeter with proper development and playing time.
