Alisa Wright brings veteran SMU frontcourt size and toughness
Alisa Wright is a 6-foot-1 forward who has been on SMU’s roster for multiple seasons, giving the Mustangs a long, physical presence up front and a player with real program familiarity. In the 2000-01 season, she flashed scoring and rebounding upside with a career-high 16 points against No. 14 LSU and 12 rebounds, though an ankle injury later sidelined her for the season. For a team, that profile screams frontcourt length, effort, and experience — less flashy, more sturdy, and the kind of glue-piece that can quietly help wins stack up.
