John Allegretta brings depth and versatility to Villanova’s secondary
John Allegretta appears to be a depth piece in Villanova’s 2026 defensive back room rather than a headline stat leader, which makes his value more about reliability, versatility, and development than splashy numbers.[1][2] Publicly available roster and player pages show him listed as a Villanova DB, with limited recent statistical output, so the key question is fit: he looks like a player who can help a team with discipline, special-teams utility, and coachability rather than instant star power.[1][2]
